Jeffrey Fashion Cares is almost here!

Just because I'm a foodie blogger, doesn't mean I can't love fashion. Which is why I'm so excited about this year's Jeffrey Fashion Cares

Jeffrey Fashion Cares is an event that combines fashion and philanthropy. It always features a Bryant Park-worthy runway show, where you can catch up on all the latest trends before fall officially gets here. The fashion show is preceded by a fabulous reception, where you can mingle with the who's who of Atlanta, and a live auction, where you can win everything from VIP dining packages at Atlanta's top restaurants to exotic cars to European vacations. After the fashion show, the event wraps up with an incredibly fun after-party (last year's featured these stylish baby goats!).

The proceeds from Jeffrey Fashion Cares benefit the Atlanta AIDS Fund and Susan G. Komen for the Cure--Greater Atlanta Affiliate. It's one of the largest philanthropic events in Atlanta and last year, it raised $600,000 for the two organizations.

This year, Jeffrey Fashion Cares celebrates its 21 anniversary, but don't expect a typical (amateur, debaucherous) 21 birthday party from this classy event. Instead, look forward to specialty cocktails, drool-worthy fashions picked by Jeffrey Kalinsky (I'm talking Lanvin, Celine, Balenciaga, Prada, etc.), and a surprise guest or two.

The event takes place on Monday, August 26 (just one week away!) at the American Cancer Society Center. You can find all the details for the 2013 Jeffrey Fashion Cares here. See you in a week!
