Preview: Jeffrey Fashion Cares 2014
Bling, sparkle and glam is what you can expect to see tonight
on the runway at Jeffrey Fashion Cares, Atlanta’s premiere fashion event that
combines style with philanthropy. As the models show off the fall collection ever
so carefully curated by Jeffrey Kalinsky & co, everything they don will
glimmer this evening, from studded jacket buttons to sequined dress embellishments
to bejeweled shoes.
In its 22nd year, the annual fundraiser benefits
the Atlanta AIDS Fund and Susan G. Komen for the Cure’s Greater Atlantaaffiliate, with more than 90% of the proceeds going to the two charities. Between
live and silent auctions, the event raised more than $700,000 for the organizations
last year alone.
So while the fashions shimmer and stun, the true altruistic
effort of JFC event co-chairs is what really shines through during this
incredible event and all year long. I have been honored to be on the planningcommittee for JFC for two years in a row and simply cannot wait for tonight’s event.
Along with the entire JFC planning team, I would love your
support during tonight’s event. Come (you can purchase tickets here), bid and
enjoy the fashions. Or donate from home. Every little bit helps. In the
meantime, feel free drool over these photos, previewing tonight’s show!
